Hey Church Family!

Many of you may have already heard about Governor Inslee's press conference this morning limiting gatherings of more than 250 people. As Christ-followers, we want to honor those who He's placed in authority over us (Romans 13) while also caring for those most vulnerable (Philippians 2:3-4).

I don't believe in canceling church, so this weekend we have the opportunity to do church  a little differently. Instead of gathering under one roof, we're going to do Church At Home. I challenge you, if you are healthy, to grab some friends, put on a pot of coffee, perhaps pick up some donuts, and gather together at one of your homes to view our service. This will include a time of worship and a message from me right here from our sanctuary.

We will continue to keep you connected in a variety of ways. First, to get the most up-to-date information, opt-in to our text messaging system by texting CONNECT to 313131. Second, if you are on social media, follow us.

To find our video service to do Church At Home this weekend, check here or on one of our social media platforms, specifically on Facebook.

Again, God's word says, "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you" (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). The Lord is our protector (Psalm 91:4). Let's continue to protect ourselves, each other, and especially the most vulnerable among us from the spread of COVID-19. Let's stand firm in God's word together, and cover one another in prayer.

With Love,

Pastor Lance Powers
